BBQ Spiced Pumpkin Seeds

I used to throw away all my pumpkin seeds whenever i carved pumpkins, but not since I discovered how delicious they could be when spiced correctly. These BBQ Spiced Pumpkin Seeds are so easy to make and so delicious. Believe me you will never be throwing away your seeds again!

3 cup raw pumpkin seeds, unshelled

2 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

2 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1/2 teaspoon ground mustard

1/2 teaspoon light brown sugar

avocado oil spray


1Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Dry roast in a single layer on your baking tray your cleaned pumpkin seeds for 10 minutes.

2Mix all your spices together.

3Take out the pumpkin seeds from the oven and place in a bowl. Spray the seeds a few time with your spray and mix your spices in. Make sure all the seeds are covered in the spices and return to your baking tray. Bake for another 25 minutes at 300 degrees F. Broil for the last 5 minutes, but watch carefully so they don't burn.

4Let seeds cool down and enjoy!
